About

I am a Penn State University alum that graduated with high distinction in physics and mathematics and honors in physics on December 20, 2008. For the spring 2009 semester, I’m working for the Penn State physics department, teaching 4 recitation sections/4 labs and helping out Dr. Paul Sommers in his lab. I’ll be attending Purdue University for graduate studies in mathematics starting in August, 2009.

In my free time away from dealing with compact sets, rings, and geodesic equations, I’m a huge computer enthusiast. I’ve been running Ubuntu Linux, Gentoo Linux and Arch Linux  on my laptop for the past few years, and I’ve almost completely weaned myself off of Microsoft’s expensive software. Although, I will admit I still use Wine to emulate programs such as Microsoft Office, I mostly use it for games such as Starcraft.

Lastly, I married a beautiful young woman in August 16, 2008 that I’d been dating for five years! We’re happily living in State College, PA at the moment. She works with horses, doing training, riding (western), farrying – pretty much anything you can think of with them.
